Burningboys 

The greatest progressive rock act since Pink Floyd, this Norway-based band played together from 2018 to 2023. In that span, the UKM finalists developed an impressive discography consisting of two(!) original instrumentals, and became pioneers in mindless improvisation and intercontinental ballistic missile drum fills.

Man, I could really go for some Burningboys right now.

Boknakaran 

A northern Norwegian band that went on for so long that ALL of their members retired, and one of them died.

They became known locally for songs like "Hortensia", "Fesk Og Potedes", "Kjøssekurset" and "Erling Jarl". In their later years, they would join forces with fiddle player Julie Alapnes to create what some might call a supergroup - "Boknakaran & Julie".

R.I.P. Jan Arvid Johansen.

Hellbillies 

A Norwegian country-rock band that's been playing together for 33 years and counting. One of their most famous songs is a cover of a Hal Ketchum's version of "Past the Point of Rescue" with Norwegian lyrics.

Hellbillies is a good band in my opinion. That's why I made this definition.
