A phrase used to describe people who try all too hard to be different and alternative. They ususally have websites full of their angst filled poetry, and love to tell others of their "pain".

Goff: "I cry tears of blood, my heart is in the mud."

A truely spiffing band. Sadly, people only seem to take notice of the sexy lead singer, and not the other two sexy members! They are friends with David Bowie, which makes them even cooler. Look out for the bassist's dance moves, they rule.
