A dilettante who is interested in libertarianism, but would more often than not break with the philosophy, politics, and economics of libertarianism for supposed compassionate reasoning ; that comes from an opposing camp. They're a believer in the political doctrine that is libertarianism which emphasizes individual liberty and a lack of governmental regulation, intervention, and oversight both in matters of the economy and in personal behavior where no one’s rights are being violated or threatened. Yet they are quick to cede their beliefs to appease opposing camps or to maintain supposed good optics.
