CLAMS

Slang term from New England meaning that the person you are speaking of is full of disease. (Clams cover a wide range of diseases) If you are going CLAMMING- the slang would mean you are going looking for disease!

That guy is full of clams. I am not dating him! She is nothing but a clam!

CLAM DIGGER

A clam digger is New England slang for someone who was on their knees digging for dinner!
The word's meaning gets changed a bit, but in New England, this slang started in the 1950's and was used to insult a person of low class. A CLAM DIGGER is even worse than a CLAM BAKER- (the person who cooks the clams after they go digging)

You are nothing but a clam digger!

Clambaker used as a slang word- started in the 1950's, meaning- one that digs on their hands and knees for their dinner.

Slang term used in New England meaning "The biggest LOSER ever."

CLAM DIGGER CAN ALSO BE USED TO MEAN THE SAME THING- BUT IF YOU ARE A CLAM DIGGER YOU ARE WORSE THAN THE BAKER!
This is old slang that started in the 1950's. In the 1950's in New England, it meant that you were the person who was on your knees digging for your dinner. (Which meant that you were low class)
The new generation changed the meaning a bit to say that YOU WERE SUCH A LOSER- WORTHLESS SCUM

That trashy woman is such a CLAMBAKER!
