Australian slang meaning to disappear suddenly, leave a place abruptly. Tasmanian; originating from the Australian slang "to do the Harry", which was Australian slang for "to do the Harold Holt" - also meaning to disappear suddenly (after former Australian Prime Minister Harold Holt, who disappeared suddenly without a trace in 1967).

Butchers

To be angry towards someone, yell at them. Pronounced the same as the meat shop 'butchers'.

"Dad went butchers when he discovered I drank the last of his beer."

"He's going to go butchers if his team loses."
