pellizcado 

Literally a pinch. Can be used to describe a twisting pinch done by an elder, usually a mom or abuela, to the upper arm of a child in order to get them to shut up or stop a particular behavior which is embarrassing to the elder.
Mami gave me a pellizcado as I was about to tell my aunt that I did not like her dessert.

Literally: a pinch. Used to describe a twisting pinch to the upper arm (very painful!), usually done by an elder to child in order to correct a behavior without calling attention in public which would be embarrassing to the elder.
Mami gave me a pellizcado as I was about to tell my aunt that I didn't like the dessert she was offering.
