Actually, vans are a lot cheaper than Reebok or Nike. They are also made of cheaper materials and worn bu the un-exoteric social outcasts.

I wouldn't wear vans even if you payed me to. I'll stick with my Reebok Classics, thank-you very much.

pop culture

A contraction for "popular culture", this is more or less a colection of cult movie qoutes, figures and dirty jokes that have been found funny by audiences worlwide, now crucified by over-use from teenagers and fat people with greasy T-shirts. The pop culture killers have typically seen just about every movie you've ever heard of and know all the qoutes. They will worship the sources of thier material as if they were some religious book. Deeply offended when criticised, and will use insults from thier movie collection.

Ezekiel 25:17 was cool until the kiddies started watching Pulp Fiction and everyone knew it.

afrikaaner

(n.) European settler in Africa, usually of dutch descent
(n.) Citizen of the lowest countries in Africa (South Africa, Kingdom of Lesotho etc.) that speaks in fluent afrikaans
(n.) Non-african exploring africa (original meaning)

Although Afrikaaners represent about 15% of South Africa by population, in the 1960's they controlled about 95% of the wealth.
