the beginning of a powerful movement in the uk of full grown men getting together to tell the public about how they were raped as little boys
in sports, church, communities
gender stereotypes have played into the abusers' hands: "don't be a pussy", "men don't cry", "men don't show weakness". Enabling them to constantly assault, abuse, rape minors who are easy targets that can be manipulated. It is a strong message: we will not keep silent anymore! we want the perpetrators to be known and punished. And by doing so we will take the first step towards a long path of healing.
