The Phone Losers of America. PLA is a group of people that enjoy making prank phone calls, exploting phone technology, and having fun.

ANAC

Automatic Number Announcement Circuit. This is a circuit within the phone company that reads back your ANI or ANI II information.

Automatic Number Identifier. This information that identifies the phone number you are calling from.

1337 

Pronounced "Leet", short for "Elite". The original phrase was 31337, or "Elite", referring to the best hackers. It is still used today by some of the good hackers, but the word has been picked up and overused by so many losers and posers that its meaning has been corrupted.

Dade Murphy, or "Zerocool", is 1337.
