Nix

Gender non-specific/ Gender non-binary term for the child of one's sibling (i.e. a term to replace the binary gender-specific terms: niece and nephew). Plural and singular are the same.

I am taking my nix shopping this weekend, they need some things for school.

I didn't have many cousins growing up; but I have several nix, so my kids are having a blast growing up with cousins!
