ward

a section of a city. for example, in new orleans. there are different sections, mostly divided by streets called "wards" 3rd ward, 13th ward, 10th ward, 5th, 9th 17th etc. many having different names based on the streets theyre on.

"3rd ward magnolia", "13th ward VL", "17th ward hollygrove" etc

a jazz marching band. usually in New Orleans. you can see these people (marching bands) play music with instruments such as trumpets, saxaphone etc goin in a parade after someone dies.
