Alexander the Great, otherwise known as Alexander III, was a conqueror king that became idealized by those regions which were ruled by his generals following his death. Alexanderism is the religious belief that Alexander the Great was a god among men, blessed with enhanced combat abilities and foresight. Mostly perpetuated in Hellenistic cultures, Alexanderism has declined as the formerly Hellenistic ties to Greece lessen.
