girl friend

Written with a space between "girl" and "friend," this term means a "female acquaintance" who goes to the same school/college/job as you. However, when written without any space, this term means "fiancée in a romantic relationship".
During Chemistry class in my first year of college, I sat next to a girl friend who wore a white collared shirt and a chequered pleated skirt, complete with her black JANSPORT backpack — like a high school girl.

A metaphoric slang term for something "plumbed" onto yourself, that you cannot easily remove within the foreseeable future. For example, your preference to read physical books over e-books due to screen time limits imposed by parents.
My love for physical books is like a tattoo; it’s something I can’t easily change, especially once my parents set rigid strict screen time limits.

Facenook

A misspelling of "Facebook" used to refer to a version of Facebook in the game "Emily is Away," available on Steam. This slang term is also associated with "Crazy Facenook Disease," an addiction to Facebook, known as "Penyakit Fesnuk Gila" in Bahasa Indonesia.
Ever since I started playing Emily is Away, I can't stop laughing at how they turned Facebook into Facenook and even made up that Crazy Facenook Disease!

The AAA video game that you carry around with you all the time, purchased for a hefty price tag, even though you don't akcually have that much time to play it.
I know I spent a fortune on this new smartphone, but with all my work commitments, I barely get to enjoy my favorite AAA titles on it.

cutscene

A pejorative slang term for "movies" used by gamers or fans of interactive media, who consider watching a 2-hour film at cinemas to be a waste of time, as they feel they can only experience "cutscenes" and nothing else.
I wanted to see the new superhero film, but my friend just called it a 'cutscene' and said he'd rather binge a game instead.
