Tashlinesque 

A work of art that has a cartoonish quality to it. Named after animator-turned-live-action director Frank Tashlin. Tashlin helped define the on-screen personas of Porky Pig, Bob Hope, Jerry Lewis and Jayne Mansfield.

A state of mind. A lovely facility in New York where one can go and blissfully rock back and forth in your own feces.

Schoolyard terminology for a tampon.

Zoom lens 

The lazy man's dolly or tracking shot. Used effectively only in cases where speed is needed to grab the audiences' attention.

"We're losing light. Let's use a zoom lens instead of going through the difficulties of pre-planning and executing a superior tracking shot."
