Used to describe anything bona fide or legit like as a seal of approval.

Originated from Andy Griffith (speaking on a Ritz Cracker TV commercial):
"Mmm-mmmmh. Anything sits good on a Ritz." Supposed to mean that Ritzes are so excellent -- ritzy, even.
IT SITZ ON THE RITZ refers to being good enough for a Ritz (figuratively).
Not limited to just food>

"I sure do like King Kelly orange marmalade. IT SITS ON THE RITZ."
"This Humboldt Purple I gotz here SITS ON THE RITZ. Here, load a bowl and see for yourself."
"Oh, that's just my cuz. He OK; he SHITS ON THE RITZ."

what's the dealio?

What's the deal? Wuzzup? What it is? What it will be? What's gonon?, What's REALLY gonon? Wuzapnin? What's this all about? What's the time? What's next? Who's next?
But with a little flair. Can be:

1) a little more intimidating, as in toying with someone. (Tell me the truth.) Or,

2) just trying to sound cool (sometimes sounds FOOL or like a prick).

1) DX: "So tell me Regina. You sez you at home all night; but, my boyz seen you riding the Avenues in a black Beamah! Now ... WHAT'S THE DEALIO?!"

2) COOLIO FOOLIO: "WHAT'S THE DEALIO, Emilio? Sound like a shoddy old audio. Maybe we oughta BURY yo' stereo!"

executive decider

The guy at the top. Someone upstairs whose paid the big bucks to make the big decisions (;and, maybe not much of anything else get done by this person).

President Bush declared that HE is the Decider.

The magic eight-ball often stands-in as EXECUTIVE DECIDER.

When the governor refused the Stay of Execution, he de facto became the EXECUTIVE DECIDER in that convict's life.

Someone upstairs

Usually refers to God (or Jesus) without actually naming Him. (The Man upstairs.)
In general, alludes to the boss, the man in charge, upper level supervision, a member of management, or the executive decider.

"SOMEONE UPSTAIRS must like me 'cause I pulled through that rut like a miracle."
"Better cover your ass, boi. SOMEONE UPSTAIRS is gunnin' for you."
"I'm sorry, ma'am but that decision is for somebody above my pay grade. I'll have to refer this matter to SOMEONE UPSTAIRS."

One or more individuals who REALLY control Urban Dictionary. Possessing special powers of judgement above and beyond those delegated to UD "editors."

Someone upstairs didn't like my Urban Dictionary submission.
The SMART PATROL <<CANCELLED>> my definition before it was even reviewed by UD editors !?! ........... NO SHIT !!

I'm SO misillusioned and rejectified !!
