(ˈkəʊlsənʌɪzd) - overwhelmed with and inspired by the cool matter-of-factness, subtle humour, unimpressed attitude and overall awesomeness of S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Phil Coulson, a.k.a. "Son of Coul", a character from the Marvel Universe, portrayed by the American actor, screenwriter and director Clark Gregg.

- "Who's your favourite character in The Avengers? Thor, Hulk, or Captain America?"
- "Neither. I'm completely coulsonized."

1. Fan and follower of the character Agent Phil Coulson from the Marvel Universe; somebody who is coulsonized.

2. Somebody who in spite of cinematic evidence believes in the survival of Agent Coulson.

3. Person who concerns her/himself with coulsonistics.

(Note: female Coulsonists are often referred to as "Coulsonites". Coulsonite is in fact a mineral containing iron and vanadium.)
