Jack Apple Chin

Not to be confused with the whiskey of the same name, this is a special alternative term to describe dimpled chins instead of "Butt Chin". Unlike "Butt Chin", this new term describes how the cleft chin itself is more shaped like an apple instead of the human buttocks, as with how the verticle cleft within the chin also resembles a vertical cut within an apple just like a Jack O' Lantern. "Jack" in this saying is meant to reference how apples are often actually used as Jack O' Lanterns sometimes instead of pumpkins.
Look dude, instead of making fun of my cleft chin and saying how much it looks like a butt, how about you just call it a "Jack Apple Chin" instead?

21

A rather arbitrary age (even more so than 18) used when it comes to adulthood. It is also the drinking age in America (America having one of the oldest drinking ages in the world, and the main reason why it was raised at 21 was to prevent drunk driving that was going on at the time).
You can go to war at 18 but can only drink at 21 in America? The inconsistency is strong with this one.

Monopod

A single-legged support used to steady a camera or fishing rod.
One notable monopod is the selfie stick. I wouldn't mind it so much if the name didn't sound so ridiculous.

A Fate Worse Than Death

Basically to assume that living a really long life is horrible and dangerous. Let's say that you were currently alive and something extremely unpleasant has happened to you that would possibly result in mental scars. Something so bad that it will stick with you for the rest of your life and you just can't wait for death.

Death is an absolutely natural part of life. You're gonna die at some point so you might as well accept it while you still can. Sometimes it would be much better for most people who really have it worse than others.
Life truly can be a fate worse than death. I know some people who have it so worse that they are just wanting to be put out of their misery because their pain (whether it be physically, mentally or emotionally) lasts the longer they live.

The Song of Ice & Fire Generation

Basically people (mainly 2010s adults, not kids) who grew up watching the hit TV show Game of Thrones (adapted from George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice & Fire series). They would normally cosplay as the characters or play games based on the series. They would also attend the Ice and Fire Con which celebrates the series as well as the show itself.
As a hardcore fan of Game of Thrones, I'm proudly part of the Song of Ice & Fire generation. Never have I seen an American fantasy show leave that much of an impact on our culture.

2010s Culture

The culture of the 2010s. It is mostly remembered for its movies, TV shows, slang, memes, celebrities, video games, music, etc. Many people however consider the popular culture of the 2010s to be absolutely godawful. This was a time where popular music started devolving, people were using dorky slang words like 'swag', 'yolo', 'bae', 'thot', 'selfie', etc., sagging, too much political correctness, SJWs, special snowflakes, edgelords, fake celebrities who didn't deserve their fame, Americans electing Donald Trump, internet/social media obsession, flat earthers, horrendous memes, and many, many more.

But on the brightside there were many other good things about the culture. There was still some memorable and iconic media and it was mostly a time where people learned things faster because of the internet advancing, but they were still too obsessed with it and were always glued to their phones.
Imagine 30 years from now when we all look back on 2010s culture. How are we even gonna explain some of this stuff to our children? Lol. Some memes, songs, shows and slang words are gonna age terribly and I have a feeling the 2010s will be remembered as a very cheesy decade.

2010s Internet

The state of the internet during the 2010s decade. This was during a time where the internet was starting to get more prominent and advanced (even more so than in the 1990s or 2000s). This was also during a time where memes started getting more mainstream, online gaming was getting more popular and more people started using more technologically advanced devices like the iPhone, Android, etc. (no one could shoot a video on their own phones back in 2004. But thanks to modern internet and technology that's possible now).

But it's also known for being a time where people got too obsessed with the internet and technology, where they would always stay glued to their phones and not take a break from being online too much. That's not good because the more you surf the web, the more sick stuff you'll eventually run into.

The most notable websites of the 2010s include Instagram, Musical.ly, and Snapchat.
Originally the web back then was used as an escape from the real world. But now thanks to 2010s internet, the real world is an escape from the web.
