An abbreviation for "Mobilization," as in the following usage by Chicago Seven activist Dave Dellinger:

"The Black leadership in the Mobe and in the antiwar movement generally decided basically to stay away from Chicago and not be involved."

and...

"Now I'm generally listed as the `chairman' of the National Mobilization Committee To End The War."
