Environmental psychosis afflicting middle-aged women, primarily named Karen, predominantly in the United States. Symptoms include, but may not be limited to; irrational, public outbursts of bat shit crazy in unsuspecting passerbys during everyday life occurrences, complete emotional meltdowns over masking up during pandemics, and irrational racist fears triggered by the Trumplican party. Given the out break of “Karens” the moniker is now commonly referred to any female having an irrational meltdown in public, hence a Karendemic.
The COVID-19 Pandemic birthed the first Karendemic, likely as a result of months of historic and strict stay at home orders and the mental and emotional stress endured.
