Dead Right There. Paramedic firefighter slang, "DOA" . Obvious death, i.e., decapitation, hanging, crispy critters Patient non-resuscitatable, corpse removed without CPR.

"Did you run that wreck on the freeway with the ejection? (patient thrown through windshield)?"

crispy critters

firefighter paramedic slang for patients burned beyond recognition. Fourth and fifth degree burns, muscle and bone burning. Last stage before sixth degree burns, cremation (all tissue reduced to ash).

By the time we got there, the people trapped in the vehicle were crispy critters.
