- February 14th, celebrated in various American and European countries by the exchange of valentines or love tokens. Traditionally (and typically) these tokens are cards, flowers and candy.
Due to the nature of this so-called 'holiday', it is one of the most popular days of the year for marriage proposals.
- A 'holiday' made popular by greeting card companies, candy manufacturers, and florists.
- A 'holiday' that makes pretty much everyone feel miserable, either because they're single, or have a 'significant other' who expects or demands to be showered with gifts and affection to make up for the other 364 days of the year that receive next to no attention. On the flip side, this 'holiday' has also become somewhat of a national make-up day that people use to 'make-up' for the other 364 days of the year that they aren't romantic and attentive to their relationships.

Get the tiuuugh mug.Beautiful girl with indian roots. Pronunciation is based on indian families inability to correctly say the name amy. This inability has turned amy's name into a cute nickname. Amy is a very funny girl who amuses many. She is always smiling even as she is rejecting people of the opposite sex. This includes walking away with a big smile while at the same time rejecting a guy for a dance. BTW, this guy does not have any resentment and anger for that event in any sort of way shape or form. Also, her best friend is a boy by the name of denny who has nothing better to do then make fun of people and criticize them and tell em to go to get out of the front sit even though somebody else is already sitting there. Again, there is no resentment or ongoing anger for his actions. Amy is very beautiful and is wanted by many. She runs around and enjoys frolicking :)

- By adding so-called 'definitions' that include the full names, screen names, or personal information of someone they either have a problem with, or are trying to impress.
- By adding so-called 'definitions' that are poorly worded, plagued with bad spelling and even worse grammar, and nonsense (and inside joke rubbish that only they (or very few) can comprehend.
- By adding so-called 'definitions' that are nothing more than cleverly (or not so cleverly) worded message board replies.
- By adding so-called 'definitions' that violate section V. (especially 10. stalk or flame another person by submitting content deemed inappropriate) of the TOS, or violate the TOS in any other way.
