Semicolon girl

It's a washed down/bearable version of a female grammar nazi. They know how to use semicolons effectively. Such a girl will reply to each and every clause of your text message in a sequential order. Such girls are hard to come by; if you are in possession of one, don't let them drift into the social-butterflyness zone.

Azra isn't your typical social butterfly that you meet at every corner; she is a semicolon girl who knows how to act decent.

The type of girl who is meticulous about her punctuation on chats and goes an extra mile to avoid short forms and internet slang. A mild varient of a grammar nazi. Such girls aren't much of social butterflies and usually avoid trending shows on Netflix.

The one thing that attracts me to her is that she is a semicolon girl.

Queen mourners

Refers to the fake mourners of Queen Elizabeth II who, for the most part, constitute erstwhile colonial subjects. They tend to post "RIP Queen" as they ignore number of deaths their country witnessed during the Raj.

Azra isn't one of the Queen mourners. Don't expect her to post that story.

Meet shop

English equivalent of the Kashmiri word "paend" that refers to a place (usually a shop) that serves as a mini panchayat for the dotards of a community to discuss everything under the sun. An ideal male kitty party.

Adil: I just ran late because the shop was close.
Azra: Or you were just enjoying yourself at the meet shop?
