bnit: Strange word with unknown mythological backgrounds. Recent research, however, suggests that it may be a misspelling of "bit".

Parisienne slang for "little sparrow".
The stage name of French caberet singer Edith Piaf, born in Paris, in 1915, as Edith Giovanna Gassion. Died 1963, age 47. Known for her tiny form, difficult life, and haunting singing style.
Edith's bright, successful professional life was a stark contrast to her miserable, chaotic personal life; she unsuccessfully searched for the love of her life, going through enough men to fill a phone book.
Her only child died in infancy, and she took to drugs and alcohol to escape her anguish and distress.
The great love of her life, French boxer, Marcel Cerdan, was killed in a plane crash.
The tragedies that she suffered were reflected in the sad, yearning ballads that she sang, a number of which she composed. La Vie en Rose was her most famous piece, as well as Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien.

The first time I heard this term and probably the first time anyone ever heard it was on the Oprah show in the summer of 2004. The show was entitled, "Do You Know What Your Teen is Really Doing?" Oprah invited a guest which obviously was hip and hop and all that and could easily infiltrate those naughty secretive teens to see what they were REALLY doing.
Get this, There is a SECRET LANGUAGE of TEENS! No wonder parents can't communicate! So the guest described to the world completely esoteric terms such as "Rainbow party" and "hoovering".
Since then, the term 'rainbow party' has been overly-used, and has even earned an episode of HUFF, in which a teenage boy goes to a 'rainbow party' and his parents later find lipstick on his underwear.

Oprah: Whats a rainbow party? Is that like, some event for PFLAG?
Guest: Oh no no no! Don't let those dirty slutty teens fool you.
Oprah: Oh, I won't!!
Guest: See, a rainbow party is... get this... a party that only about a couple of people actually do in the real world, but we decided to tell everybody cause YOU COULD BE NEXT!
Oprah: Gasp!

a 'nang' is a little metal bomb shaped like thing that holds nitrous oxide. this is inhaled with the aid of an old soda stream device, the gas is then released into a baloon then inhaled through the mouth. nangs are particually good when taken coming down on exstacy.
eg. big night out, head mangled, go back to a party get some nangs. cause it strangely sorts your head out when you come back down to earth from the nang hit.
