krump

A style of dancing consisting of various chest pops, stomps, and arm swings. It is used to express one's feelings towards another through dance rather than violence. Please don't confuse krumping with clown dancing.

tommy the clown

The man who is known as the father of krumping. He set the standard for party entertainment in southern california. He created the Battle Zone o give a better outlet to conflits of "who's krumping or clowning was the best." It ended up giving the community an alternative to violence as well as finding a way to relate to today's youth at their level and in their language all while keeping kids off the streets of Los Angeles.
