Nerdmone

A nerdmone is data released by a cell, computer, or a laptop in one part of the user that affects all other aspects of life. Generally, only a small amount of nerdmone is required to alter a user’s life. In essence, it is a mechanical messenger that transports a signal from technology to a user. All technology users produce nerdmones; plant nerdmones are also called ubernerdmones. Nerdmones in animals are often transported in the graphics. Users respond to a nerdmone when they access specific technology for that nerdmone. The nerdmone binds to the user’s life, resulting in the activation of a data mechanism that ultimately leads to technology attachment.

nerdbone

A highly intelligent, yet often misunderstood, person. Often seen camping out in the hallways near their math professor's office engaged in highly stimulating conversations on esoteric, yet important (they would say), issues dominating the math world.

If upon sighting a nerdbone, one is to proceed with much caution, as any if hint of politeness-- or what one may call friendship--is hinted at, the nerdbone quickly follows with lengthy conversation, usually involving several math, sports, or some irrelevant science references.

Often seen driving Ford Tauruses, lunching on Jack-in-the-box, and at the grocery store with their mom. Highly proficient in nerdbonics.
Tom: Did you see they were coming out with a new Star Wars movie?

Bob: No.

Bill: Did you know, that by the laws defined by Cauchy, et al. laid down in the spectacular book " Scientific Knowledge for the Socially Inept", that laser guns...

Tom: Hey, nerdbone, is that your Taurus being towed?

flophouse

Any house/apartment/frat house/trailer/etc. which is used for individuals to crash (sleep, chill, hang out, lurk, etc.) for a period of time. In order to "crash", one must not actually live there (e.g. have their name on the lease, own said flophouse, etc.). Flophouses are typically used by college students, drug addicts, transients, vagrants, or other unsavory characters.

A flophouse may also be the home owned by the parents of a college student, who after being away at college, wishes to live as if he/she is still at college (e.g. staying out all night, returning just to crash at mom and dad's house, then leaving again), rather than conforming to the pre-college rules.
Example #1
Dude: (Talking to someone passed out face first on the floor of his college apartment) Hey man, who the hell are you? What do you think this is, a flophouse??

Bro: Sorry dude, I must have passed out for a minute.

Example #2
Mom: Where have you BEEN for the last three days? You come home just to sleep?? What do you think this is, a flophouse??!!

Son: What's your problem? I'm an adult now!
