geeksmas
The geek holiday that comes after Christmas. It covers the various weeks within January and February that encompass CES (Consumer Electronics Show), Macworld and PMA (a major photography expo). Most every cool new consumer electronic, Apple and photography product is announced during this extended holiday, making it feel like Christmas for Geeks all over again.
For Geeksmas this year I hope Canon finally releases a successor to their 5D camera. That, and maybe Steve Jobs will give us a new ultraportable mac, too!

geekback
Term describing the type of feedback one would expect to receive from a software developer, IT professional, or general technology geek, etc.
We received some geekback from our IT department and it's being translated at this time into something that the rest of us can understand.
getsmack
Short for a"'thats what you get' smack". A good, hard backhand to the back of the face which was well deserved, usually by cheating on a boyfriend/girlfriend.
Man: "Baby I'm sorry I slept with your sister."
Woman smacks the hell out of Man
Woman: "That was a getsmack, bitch."
Woman smacks the hell out of Man
Woman: "That was a getsmack, bitch."
geekspank
A NOUN that describes magazines dedicated to technical information. The reader must be looking forward to pouring over each issue to get every last detail.
My friend Adam's bedroom floor is covered in Geekspank. He waits anxiously for the each issue of tape-op to come to his parents mail box. "I can't wait to read about the X4000St rev. 2 it supposed to make the rev 1 one sound so Janky.
