Trolling someone into revealing geeky/sperglord information and then letting them know they've fallen into your trap.

Troll: I was looking to buy my wife a fancy purse, what should I get?

Bob: Oh man I wrote a whole book about this, let me get it!

Troll: Trap sprung.
