1981 DJ Flash of the Rappers Rapp Group (1981-1985) Was the first White Rapper to pursue rap as a full time career ... Although blondie recorded "rapture" in 1980...she is not considered an mc or modern day rapper...the same can be said for johnny cash, pigmeat, steven tyler, comander Cody...and so forth.
