varial 

skate trick also known as "pop shove-it", "pop shuv-it" or "ollie varial". consist of an 180 degrees rotation of the board under your feet by hitting the tail with the back foot and directing the skate with the front foot. Can be "backside" or "frontside" depending in wich direction the board rotates (clockwise or counterclockwise). If you make a 360 degrees rotation it will be called a "360 varial"...

Edgar Kausel is the absolute varial master... i saw him doing 3 feet ollie varials over hydrants and trash cans in the streets of Santiago...

varial kickflip

This trick is made of two words. Varial and Kickflip. A varaible would be a complete 180 horizantal rotation of the board. A kicklip would be a complete rotation of the board. When the board rotates you should see the underside. When these two manuevers combine you have formed a Varial Kickflip. That was a freakin' huge definition and I'm surprised you stuck around for the whole thing.

varial kickflip

something that you do or what you see other people do when you or they cant tre flip worth shit. the varial kickflip usually looks good best when you do it down a large gap or flight of stairs. it also can look decent flat if you pop it really high.

the majority of people who do varial kickflips are kids 10-16 years old which pretty much are novice skaters who kinda suck and cant tre flip.

Once you get tre flips this tricks is usually forgotten and is mostly busted out by good skaters in a game of skate when they've run out tricks to do to their opponent.

when doing a varial, or pop shuvit, you also do a heelflip, which is the oppisite of a kickflip

varial kickflip

a kickflip is when the board stays facing forward but rotates through 360 degrees (it turns upsidedown). Varial is another was of saying that rit rotates through 180 degrees (withought turning upsidedown), combine the two and you have a varial kickflip. (it is also known as a 180 kickflip or 180 flip)

"hey, I just did a varial kickflip down that four set."
