Used by guys who are turning gay or think they might be gay to make an easy switch from girls to guys. The transition girlfriend is usually extremely butch and masculine and would not get a boyfriend besides a man who thinks he's gay. It's pretty much the manliest woman the man can find. The next step after the transition girlfriend is a very feminine gay guy that is almost like a woman.

The first girl a guy with hook up with after coming out of a serious relationship. Usually this girl is his transition back into the dating game but unfortunately she comes with an expiration date. She is only there to satisfy his being in fuck around mode basically a friends with benefits position.

Amari: I hope this chick Kyler hooked up with knows she is his Transition Girl(friend) and don’t start to catch feelings.
Jaison: Yeah I know because she will be in her feelings if thinks he’s going to the level and make her his girlfriend.
