Someone attracted to the same sex that only acts and dresses like a typical straight person and only wants to date others that also only act and dress like a typical straight person.

-They often don't express themselves.
-You won't ever catch them watching RuPauls drag race.
-Typically are transphobic.

I'm not gonna carry a handbag, and my boyfriend better not either, I'm a traditional gay.

Transitional Gay 

A gay male, who is usually more feminine, that helps a curious straight male experiment.

After this experience, or several of them, the straight male will either go on to date gay men or women, and leave behind the transitional gay.

The transitional gay is never the one a curious male dates, because once the curious male decides he is gay the transitional gay is now to feminine for him.
