When an otherwise great Band's/Group's vocalist (Who has a definitive voice) starts to annoy you so much that you can't listen any of the songs anymore, without having an immense urge to bang your head to the wall.

Exc 1: First i enjoyed Muse, but then Matthew Bellamy's vocals hit the Guns 'n Roses Phenomenom.

To Retire, settle down.
It's based on the idea of an old gun slinger who finds true love and 'hangs up his guns' to become a farmer.

In modern usage, it could be said about a guy who has previously had lots of casual relationships, or considers himself a 'playa'

"kiss the guns"

To raise ones arms into the classic strongman position (humerus horizontal, radius and ulna elevated to vertical, fists pointed towards the head), and to dip the neck to the right or left to kiss the biceps, mostly for use in self motivation or after "really rocking hard at something". Pointing the fists outwards (a technical gun kiss) is a further improvement, and allows the user to rock even harder (often precedes total head explosion).

I just smashed Geoff Capes's face off in a bare fist brawl, "kiss the guns" !
