Super Bowl XL

I love it when Steeler's fans say Super Bowl XL was not fixed. Check out these stats:

Ben Roethlisberger: 9/21 (42%) 123 yards 0 touchdowns 2 interceptions 22 passer rating

Roethlisberger holds the title of having the absolute worst quarterback performance in Super Bowl history. He was even worse than Terry Bradshaw (who was never that good, despite what the media says) in his performance against the LA Rams in Super Bowl XIV. Don't even mention the phantom touchdown he didn't get. He even admitted on national television that he did not get that touchdown.

Willie Parker: 10 carries/93 yards.

On the surface, this is good. But one of his carries was a 75 yard touchdown, so if we take that away, his stats would've been 18 yards on 9 carries, or 2 yards a carry, which is extremely shitty.

Jerome Bettis: 14 carries, 43 yards

I've always hated that overrated fat fuck, and it was a pleasure seeing the Seahawks defense stuff his fatass. He only managed 3 yards a carry. It's also important to mention that Detroit, his home town, hosted Super Bowl XL, and he retired after finally getting his long awaited Super Bowl ring. Is anyone finding this a little coincidental?

The only player on the entire Steeler's team that played well was Hines Ward (123 yards, 5 receptions). Even if the Seahawks won, he would still deserve the MVP (and I fucking hate Hines Ward).

Take away the refs (one of them being a Pittsburgh native), the Seahawks would've destroyed the Steelers, possibly the first shutout in Super Bowl history.

Super Bowl XLVI

A game in which the Patriots had a golden opportunity to win the game until Wes Welker dropped a perfect pass. The Giants put a drive together and the game pretty much ended there. History repeated itself.
Football Nut 1: Dude did you watch Super Bowl XLVI?!

Football Nut 2: Yeah, until Wes Welker dropped that pass! I was pissed! I lost 20 dollars!

Super Bowl XLIII

Super bowl between the Arizona Cardinals and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Steelers won 27-23, with a touchdown pass to MVP Santonio Holmes with only 35 seconds left in the game.

The Steelers played the hardest schedule in the league and had many injuries, but over came most of these to get to the Super Bowl.

The Cardinals were a surprise and Kurt Warner despite being older than the pyramids was able to lead his team all year.

The game seemed all Pittsburgh until mid 4th quarter when Arizona got crazy and Larry Fitzgerald got a bunch of catches. But Large Benjamin Roethlisberger was able to put together a winning drive.

Super Bowl XLIX

Arguably one of the best Super Bowls to date, Super Bowl XLIX (49) pitted the NFC Champion Seattle Seahawks against the AFC Champion New England Patriots, each playing for the right to become the sole champion of the 2014 NFL Season.

Pregame: Deflategate controversy, Bill Belichick's flip flops, "I'm Just Here so I Won't Get Fined." That's all you need to know.

Coin Toss: Seattle wins the toss. NE receives the ball first.

Qtr 1: Neither team scores. Tom Brady gets intercepted by Jeremy Lane.

Score: NE 0 | SEA 0

Qtr 2: NE: Brady touchdown pass to Brandon LaFell.

SEA: Run-in touchdown by Marshawn Lynch.

NE: Brady to Rob Gronkowski touchdown (and spike).

SEA: Touchdown pass from Russell Wilson to Chris Matthews.

Score: NE 14 | SEA 14

Halftime: Katy Perry sings & rides on things.

Qtr 3: SEA: Steven Hauschka field goal.

SEA: INT by Bobby Wagner leads to touchdown pass from Wilson to Doug Baldwin. Ten points now separate the two teams.

Score: NE 14 | SEA 24

Qtr 4: NE: Short touchdown reception from Brady to Danny Amendola.

NE: Julian Edelman catches Brady's pass for a touchdown.

Final Moments: SEA: Jermaine Kearse makes a deflected/bobbled catch at the 5-yard line.

NE: Rookie corner Malcolm Butler makes game-winning interception, creating one of the best (or worst, whichever way you look at it) game-ending plays in Super Bowl history. SEA coach Pete Carroll is later criticized for the call.

Final Score: NE 28 | SEA 24
Super Bowl XLIX is arguably one of the most exciting Super Bowls to date. On the contrary, most of its $4.5 million-dollar commercials weren't nearly as fun to watch.

Notes: Tom Brady won his fourth Super Bowl in 14 years, and his third Super Bowl MVP.

With this win, Brady is now tied with Joe Montana and Terry Bradshaw for most Super Bowl wins by a quarterback.

Brady also holds the record for the most career touchdown passes in the Super Bowl, as well as most Super Bowl appearances.

Brady and Belichick further heightened their records for most career playoff wins.

The Patriots became the first team to win a Super Bowl after being down by 10 points in the fourth quarter.

As of 2015, this was the most-watched Super Bowl to date.

Super Bowl XLVIII

The Super Bowl/final game of the 2013-2014 NFL season, where the NFC Champion, Seattle Seahawks had the best defense in the NFL while the AFC Champion, Denver Broncos had the best offense in the NFL. The game was over hyped and was thought to be close. Seattle ended up raping the shit outta Denver. 43-8

Super Bowl XLI

An extremely sloppy, boring, badly played, overhyped game between the Indianapolis Colts and Chicago Bears. It was played on February 4th, 2007, in Miami, FL. The Colts won 29-17. Peyton Manning was the MVP of the game, even though he only threw for 276 yards and 1 touchdown with an interception.
"Did you see Super Bowl XLI last night?"
"I turned it off after there were about 6 turnovers in the first half."
