pick-up soccer

A game of soccer where anyone can join, usually there's no membership fees, no skill requirements and it's just for fun. It's just a bunch of strangers meeting together to play the greatest sport in the word.

Person A: Do you know where I can play soccer?
Person B: Yeah, there's pick-up soccer every Thursday at Lincoln Park.
Person A: Cool, thanks!

pick-up soccer

A casual game of soccer that can emerge anywhere, at any time, or that can be planned in advance by an organizer. There are no coaches, and it is not part of a league.

I miss playing pickup soccer. I don't have time to join a league. I'm going to find a pick-up soccer game on the OpenSports App at www.opensports.ca
