The usage as an insult is rarer than fatherless though.

Motherless kids tend to be toxic, ignorant, and can't take a chill while arguing/having a disagreement with you

While, fatherless kids tend to tryhard being unique, horny, and lazy

Those are bad traits, you may not develop those even if you actually don't have a female or male figure, i believe
