For when you think it's at the end of the school year but you're not sure when. From May fifteenth to April fifteenth. Therefore someone's birthday could be in Maypril, or they could put Maypril in their calender as a date.

Jimmy's birthday was in Maypril, but his mother always said it was May tenth, not Maypril twenty-fifth.

Mapril Fools

Started by a janitor in Wainwright Alberta, it is a play on words of the traditional April Fools day. Mapril Fools is when mother nature decides to shaft us with a buttload of snow on May 1st. (Or early May)

I was looking forward to finally wearing shorts, but then Mother Nature decided to pull a Mapril Fools joke on us.
