The single act of shouting and jumping in rhythm. A good dog hopbarks when the fence is just too high for people to see you. People hopbark when trying to be heard and be seen in a crowd. Hopbarking is an expression of joy, but it can also be a warning to let all in earshot know you ready for whatever they got.
Bailey was a good dog, she always hopbarked at the strangers in the other side of the big stone wall.
