Get the Flemish mug.Feenish sits half a mile south of the village of Ardmore in Irish-speaking south Connemara, Galway. It is a low-lying island of meadows and sandy beaches with a long scattering of ruined houses which run along the north and western coasts. Many of these are slowly filling with sand which blows in on the westerly winds and is trapped within the crumbling stone walls.
