Doplic also spelled Dopic. It’s low German ie Amish; specifically from Lancaster County PA. Technically doplic means clumsy and uncoordinated however in usage it means “slow”; as in developmentally slow or “touched in the head”. If someone calls you doplic they are actually calling you a retard.
