when a police man pulls you over because you didn't come to a "complete stop" at a stop sign. basically if your wheels don't stop moving before you proceed a police man can and will pull you over.
driver: what seems to be the problem officer?
Police guy: you ran a stop sign, you didn't come to a complete stop.
driver: a cowboy stop? are you serious?? c'mon man i was barely moving and there were no other cars.
Police guy: it don't matter, rules is rules. so here is your ticket and have a nice day.
when driving country roads late at night and approaching a four way intersection, instead of stopping, you turn your headlights off to see if headlights are coming from the other directions: no lights means green lights.
While evading the laws, I cowboy stopped at two intersections going 85mph.
church hurt is where you experience a degree of distance, pain, or judgement from your church community. Essentially, you are just unable to “find your place”. This is prevalent in the Christian community, but can be extended to other religions.
Now that I am an adult I am beginning to heal from the church hurt that was inflicted on me as a child.
when you're holding up your phone and making faces at it, as though you are taking a selfie, but you're really taking a picture of the person across from you or the wall or anything else that seems interesting but you don't want to be caught dead taking a picture of.
