Great singer. Probably the best ever. He's got a powerful voice, can sing fast and slow with it. He can sing "normal". He can make any song good.

Vocalist for both Slipknot and Stone Sour. Truely amazing in both bands. I see a lot of other people with definitions for Corey are making fun of poser-maggots who have only ever heard the song "Vermilion." But, I have noticed, even the so-called, "true maggots" here all spelled Vermilion wrong. Haha. Anyway, Corey's one of the best singers I've ever heard and deserves some respect.
Corey Taylor is fucking amazing, especially in songs like (sic), Spit it Out, and Disasterpiece.

- featured in a world-wide music video for the WCW at the age of 1
- youngest person ever to perform at the "Joint" at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas

He also works on a few solo projects, e.g. with his show "CMFT", which features live music, stand-up comedy and Q&A as an interaction with the fans. His books are quite popular too, but the main cause of his success is the wide range of vocals he covers with his voice.
During his time in Slipknot, he worked with bands like Anthrax, Soulfly and KoRn.
His work often caused much controversy, as well as the debate about his extraordinarily big neck.

the best singer in the world nuff said. i love stone sour and slipknot equally and i also love his nu song he collaborated on with apocalyptica. he has THE BEST voice EVER!!!!! and I am not one of those eejit ppl who call themselves maggots when they've only heard vermillion. and btw if you know where i can get mate.feed.kill.repeat on either CD, cassette or vinyl then please let me know thanx.
