blow tube

Noun. A Smoking Accessory. Often hand-held sized, made of empty toilet paper roll or Gatorade bottle stuffed with dryer sheets. Subsequent to inhaling smoke, exhale into the blow tube such that the smoke is disguised and dispersed into surrounding air. If operated properly, such substance’s smoke aroma will be incognito.

Yo dude, use the blow tube, my parents are home.

permission to blow tubes

Nautical. Requesting permission to blow hot steam on the tubes in a naval superheated boiler. Often thought to refer to a sailor by the name of Tubes, but this is not correct. The permission is needed because there will be a release of some smoke when tubes are blown.

Engineering Officer: Request permission to blow tubes, sir.
Officer of the Deck: Permission granted.
