When you make a point that is almost a fact and cannot be argued with or about so even if you do argue about it, it's as good as arguing with the wall.

Get the Argue with the wall. mug.
This is when somebody argues by DEFLECTING anything said against them.

They will NEVER address any issues brought against them or their point but will instantly bring something else up to change the subject

Deflective racists use this tactic whenever a situation/fact is brought up that goes against there beliefs

People do this because they know damn well if they try to address the issue or stay relevant to it, there entire argument will get derailed

Get the arguing with a girl mug.
A weasel word preface used when a person wishes to make an argument or state an opinion while making it look like they are stating fact. If asked specifically about the "some" they've mentioned, the person will usually not be able to list a source of note. (You, by yourself, are NOT a source of note for the purposes of "some argue.")

Most commonly seen on open-edit sites like Wikipedia.
Wikipedia entry: "Some argue that President Barack Obama was involved in the mass murder of over 12,000 kittens in February of 2004."

Sensible person: "Care to list a source for me, buddy? Other than yourself, I mean."

A funny image that perfectly describes those crazy people who argue on the net by comparing them to a member of the special olympics. (The other guy defining this obviously does it)
Example of arguing on the internet.

Person B: Take a look at this image.

Another way of saying "to argue for the sake of it".
