Arc-en-ine

Stems from two words:

Arcane - mysterious
Canine - the Latin word for dog.
The reason for the name is that the Pokémon was supposed to be legendary, but was scrapped in favour of Moltres.

Species of Pokémon. The evolution of the puppy Pokémon Growlithe.

Fire type. Based of dog, hence it's loyal nature. Often lives in active volcanoes

The legendary beast Arcanine was only bested by Rapidash in one area. Speed.

A super-hyper-uber conservative dumbass redneck moderator who forces his beliefs on everyone else and deflects their opinions. Refuses to believe that animals were not created for our use and attacks anyone who doesn't like Bush. Extremely lock-happy, locking anything "controversial" by his terms.
