To show vulnerabeauty is to see the
magic in the mundane,
to see courage in sharing we are
tired, needy, hiding, confused, or bored. It is to see the wonder in our flaws and the potential in our mistakes. Willing to be new, go alone, start again, own less, expect less, forgive more, let go of control and find beauty in being lost or sad.
Vulnerabeauty helps us learn that we hurt others too, and that it is never too
late to re-learn to
love after practicing
fear. It is talking less with our mouths, listening more with our hearts, sharing a story right to the end, sleeping in till 4pm, getting up and trying again, playing for a while in the sand, and being older and finding a cool new
friend.
We offer vulnerabeauty when we strive for authenticity over nice, for movement over comfort, creativity over labels, and learn first
hand that encouragement and grace is more powerful that shaming to inspire lasting change.
Her vulnerabeauty allowed her to follow her dream to learn
ballet at
age 75.
He offered her a
rare vulnerabeauty on the day he cried with her, rather than just passing the tissues.
After being hospitalised for depression she allowed herself to be less perfect, and she knew that even in her sadness there was vulnerabeauty to be found.
