Theodore Roosevelt

The twenty-sixth President of the United States. He became President of the United States at the age of 42. One of the best Presidents this country has had. Made the U.S. into a world power by constructing the Panama Canal. Fought against monopolies and big business. Teddy also settled coal strike of 1902. Recieved a Medal of Honor for his role in the Spanish-American war and was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for helping negotiate the end of the Russo-Japanese War.
As Theodore Roosevelt once said "Speak softly and carry a big stick."

Theodore Roosevelt

One of the finest Presidents in US history as he put the interests of the nation above his political party. Even though he was a Republican, TR fought against child labor and corporate monopolies on oil and the RR. He supported the Pure Food and Drug Act which helped keep contaminated food and beverages out of the supermarket. Through mediating peace between Russia and Japan and sending the Great White Fleet out for nationalistic and humanitarian purposes, TR proved the US was a major player in global affairs.
America has not had a truly great president since Theodore Roosevelt.

Theodore Broosevelt

Combining the word "bro" with the U.S. president Teddy Roosevelt's last name to form a more distinguished way to call someone a bro.

Phrase originally coined by Cool Dang Sarazing circa 2009. This phrase has become a popular insult/compliment to many people in the U.P. of Michigan.

The word 'flag' as pronounced by people with thick Belfast accents. The term is a perfect encapsulation of the disproportionate and overblown reaction to the removal of the Union Jack (as in 'de fleg') from above City Hall in Belfast. Where previously it had flown for 365 days per year, it is now flown on 17 designated days of the year - in line with many other British cities.

The event caused a portion of the Protestant community ('fleggers') to make international pricks of themselves as they proceeded to wreck the fucking place, claiming it was another erosion of a 'British' identity they perceive to have been under attack since the horrifying spectre of equality reared its head in Northern Ireland.

The word 'fleg' - and indeed 'fleggers' - fittingly describes a section of humanity unconcerned with knowledge, reality or the vagaries of the English language. Like America's tea-baggers they are ruled by instinct, fear and paranoia with a side dish of rampant bigotry and startling ignorance of the world around them.
"Wat de fuck like! The taigs got de fleg took down! Let's wreck de fuckin place! No surrender!"

"De fleg has been took down! Before ye know it there'll be a united Ireland! Attack Short Strand! God Save The Queen!"
