A folder in the directory C:\Windows. It contains the drivers and startup information and other important stuff required to run Windows on your computer. If you delete it your computer will get bricked (turned into a useless brick).
P1: Hey, that geek told me to delete "system32". He says it's gonna make your computer faster. He even gave me the command line, whatever that is.
P2: Dude, please. You'll brick your laptop if you delete it.
