Sonic Syndrome is where they make a photorealistic CGI version of a character look beyond NIGHTMARISH!!!

Examples include Sonic's now-scrapped character design for the 2020 Sonic movie, every character's design from the 2019 Cats movie, and Boot's character design from the Dora movie.

Person 1: Have you seen the trailer for the new live action adaptation of the Sonic movie
Person 2: Yeah, Sonic's character design looks satanic.

Person 1: He definitely suffered from Sonic Syndrome, like every other photorealistic version of a cartoon character.
