A combination of the two most important things in life, talking and s'mores. Smalks are not to be taken lightly and are not intended for gossip and superficial conversation. Smalks are meaningful discussions about life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, namely through eating s'mores.

Sally: I hear you're building a fire pit.
Ron: Yeah, it's almost complete.
Sally: Well let me know when it's finished. It'd be nice to talk over some s'mores.
Ron: Sure, I'd be down for a quality smalk anytime.
