A question, usually asked by musicians (though the term is used loosely in many cases) which has the sole intention of either;
1. undermining the musical director by suggesting that he is wrong regarding a certain point, or;
2. highlighting the fact that one of your fellow performers is doing something wrong, and that you have realised this, therefore making you a genius.

This is a term often used by the British public services when the public approach them and ask blatantly obvious or silly questions that they could have answered themselves with very little effort. The people that ask SFQ's can usually be spotted making their way toward you through a crowded or non-crowded place, like a shark attracted to blood.
"Here comes an SFQ. You can see him coming towards us right now".
"He just asked me an SFQ asking me where the bus to Sandford was when he was stood right next to the bus timetable displayed on the bus stop".

You will see this acronym used on web boards, blogs, forums, etc. It is used in response to an obvious attempt at boosting ones' own post count by posting after ones' own post, or most literally, posting four times in a row.
Also used ironically, in response to a legitimate double post.
It is generally used to discredit ones' recent posts as counting towards their overall post count. High post counts are a status symbol on many sites.
